More cement, more glass, more BLUE.  What's not to love?

What's to love about cement and glass?  Nothing... until you throw in a crazy blue sky on a sunny day.  Taken on an otherwise unmemorable college campus, this is one spotlights architecture, angles and reflections.  No tweaks on this image apart from a minor crop.  The sky really WAS that blue!

There are few times when a photo doesn't benefit from a little editing.  This one from last winter is an exception.  It almost makes me LIKE gloomy, grey winters  in NY.

Here's another fun tutorial to help you stretch and grow.  This is my version, and I actually did it twice.  The first time I followed the steps exactly and the result was not like the sample.  The second time I changed some of the layer blending modes to get closer to the example.  Give it a try - it was not all that difficult!
